There is a saying…one of my favorites…seems appropriate to begin with it…
“Give every day the opportunity to become the best day of your life.”
Truly. We wake up every, single day and have a choice. A choice to create. A choice of what we will make of that day. A choice of whether we will let the day happen to us or whether we will shape the day into the extraordinary.
Gratitude. Hope. Grace. Strength. Faith. Magic. Smiles. Work. Sweat. Create. Connection.
Don’t get me wrong. We are all human, me included, though sometimes I have to remind myself of that. So there are days that letting life happen to me seems easier. Yet it is the days when I am intentional that are the easiest. Why?
That’s what happens when you are intentional. Life opens itself to letting you in. The good, the bad, the ugly. The beautiful complexity of life. Embrace it, accept it, and it will let you in.
Take the breaths worth taking. Share the smiles worth making.
The purpose of this blog is for ME. To write down the moments and experiences and creative expressions allow me to reflect and ensure I am seizing the opportunity of life everyday. That I am learning how to fail with grace, that I am mindful of faith and hope…and that I create experiences in life that make me smile.
